Headaches

Headaches are a painful condition of one or more organs in the head. They are among the most common forms of pain and affect a large part of the population to varying degrees. A distinction is made between primary headaches, which are fairly common, and secondary headaches, which are less common. For the latter, pain is the result of another disorder, e.g. an accident or bleeding, whereas for the former, pain itself is the disorder. Depending on the classification, the primary focus is either relieving the pain itself or eliminating causes and triggers.
